mock drafts & agentic simulations
All that is to say, over the past few years I've loved following NCAAW basketball. Unrelatedly (?), over the past few years I've begrudgingly fulfilled my duty as a faithful subject of the corporate feudal state (read: engineer) by also following all of the {ai_buzzwords}.
3 years ago I watched a 12 min highlight of Caitlin Clark posting a 40-point triple double in the Elite 8 against Louisville. Then I saw her and the Iowa Hawkeyes upset the then undefeated 36-0 South Carolina Gamecocks.
Then this happened.👇🏿

Unsurprisingly, I soon found myself sucked into NCAAW Twitter, Reddit, and a number of other unsavory places. My (continued & sustained) presence there has kept me privy to many of the subplots swirling within, below, and beside the game.

lol, i swear the basketball is also v good. the drama is the icing on the cake!
There have been far too many extracurricular episodes to name, but to highlight two of my favorites from that year:
- Kim Mulkey threatening to sue the Washington Post over an alleged hit piece in the middle of the season
- Flau'Jae Johnson's brother jumping out of the stands and onto the court mid-game to break up a fight between her & Kamilla Cordoso (who looked to be a good foot taller than him 😅)

Naturally, I've found a convoluted way to bring these two warring loves together in a beautiful (to meee) union. So without further ado, please, take a look @ what we got going on here. I present to you...
